Timeless/Endless
An exploration of time,
through time,
over time.
Timeless/Endless is an experimental project where I will be releasing 12 timepiece designs in limited edition batches of 12.
12 months, 12 hours, 12 designs, 12 in each edition.
The starting inspiration for the series are the classic proportions of wall clocks—distilled to their essence. The use of laser cut aluminum sheet material creates a graphic pop by floating off the wall and allows for on-demand fabrication.
Exposed rivets are a common detail across the Timeless/Endless clock series—they act as both a functional and an aesthetic detail. The clock face is riveted to bent aluminum brackets for securing the timepiece to the wall and the mechanical fasteners also act as the hourly markers.
The project starting point was to create a timeless framework to be iterated upon—with endless possibilities for variation.
The Timeless/Endless project will continue through time, and may mutate over time.

Timepiece Nº1 is time as a dot—a single point of existence in an infinite black expanse. Singular dots are lonely ideas, but the connections drawn between them have great power.

Timepiece Nº2 represents time as a blank canvas—a constrained space in which to leave a mark (or leave none at all.)
The powder coat finish allows you to make your own marks on the surface with dry erase markers or wax pencil. How will you make time your own? Carefully labelling the numbers as tradition has determined? Expressing your own abstract notions of time? Leaving it as a blank face as a reminder of the blank slate we are given by simply existing?

Limited first edition of 12 pieces released in March 2025. Second edition “reissued” in Dec 2025—this edition features white rivets.
** This unit has a few slight imperfections in the powder coat about the size of pen tip. It has been discounted to reflect this flaw. Returns are generally not accepted, please ask if you want a photo.

Timepiece Nº3 interprets time as an illusion. Time is merely a reflection of change—there is no absolute time, no absolute space—everything is relative. Time may be psychologically real, but time is not fundamentally real.
Nº3 is made from two laser cut pieces of aluminum, powder-coated in a matte finish to create the graphic 2D-3D effect.
Exposed rivets act as both a functional and an aesthetic detail—the clock face is riveted to bent aluminum brackets for securing the timepiece to the wall and the mechanical fasteners also act as the hourly markers.

Timepiece Nº4 interprets time as “perforated” — a fragmented experience where moments within time are not necessarily seamlessly connected. Despite the fleeting nature of time and the disjointed nature of memory, we fill in the gaps to find meaning.
Nº4 is made from laser cut aluminum, powder-coated in a matte charcoal finish—over top of the rivets—for a monotone effect.
The exposed rivets act as both a functional and an aesthetic detail—the clock face is riveted to bent aluminum brackets for securing the timepiece to the wall and the mechanical fasteners also act as the hourly markers.

Timepiece Nº5 interprets time as controlled chaos — within the seemingly linear progression of time, there exists a fundamental state of disorder and unpredictability. While time appears to move forward in a structured way, the underlying reality might be one of constant, unpredictable change and fluctuation.
Nº5 is made from laser cut aluminum—the center is powder-coated in a silver vein hammertone that has a textured finish and the corners are powder-coated in matte black.
The exposed rivets are both a functional and aesthetic detail—the clock face is riveted to bent aluminum brackets for securing the timepiece to the wall and the mechanical fasteners also act as the hour markers.

Timepiece Nº6 interprets time as “self-reflection” — how we spend our time reveals who we are through our choices, habits, and priorities. Nº6 portrays the passing of time through its changing hands, but also through your changing reflection.
Reminiscent of industrial safety mirrors, Nº6 is made from laser cut mirrored acrylic, rivets and rubber trim. The exposed rivets act as both a functional and an aesthetic detail—the clock face is riveted to bent aluminum brackets for securing the timepiece to the wall and the mechanical fasteners also act as the hourly markers.
Limited first edition of 12 pieces released in October 2025.
A few important notes:
This clock is essentially an experimental prototype, assembled by the designer in the studio—so it may have minor imperfections. As an industrial designer I want objects to not necessarily be perfect, but always be intentional. Think of any imperfections as part of the personality of the object.
The mirrored acrylic is easily scratched, any dust on the glass will cause small scratches when wiped at carelessly. Although prone to scratching, I think the possibility of light marks over time can be a somewhat compelling concept around the passing of time and the patina that only happens with age.
Ideally use canned air or a light wipe of a static cleaning brush to remove dust. DO NOT rub your finger or your sleeve to remove dust.
