A complete system for upgrading a Moccamaster to eliminate brewing plastics and increase coffee control.

The “Semi-Manual System” is an upgrade for the Technivorm Moccamaster KBGV/KGBT/KBT that allows you to eliminate the stock plastic brewing parts yet still brew a full 1.2 L batch. The performance matches that of the stock dripper—it will make delicious coffee—but without lingering coffee oils or risk of microplastics. The system also gives you more control over the brewing process by making it easy to rotate the dripper or stir the slurry for more even saturation. The corked carafe allows you to trap the heat when you’re done brewing, and bring some beauty to the breakfast table. Read more about the system here.

The Semi-Manual System parts:

1. The Bracket - a powder-coated bent steel bracket that allows you to use a wide array of pour-over drippers

2. The Dripper - a size 03 glass Hario v60 and a custom cork adapter

3. The Carafe - A custom-designed borosilicate glass pitcher with a cork lid that eliminates the stock plastic funnel and handle, while offering a more sophisticated aesthetic. The carafe also works with our accessories for the Slow System.
